Terms & Conditions

  1. Once Order is Placed, your order is processed. All orders are final and we do not accept cancellations.

  2. Complaints for Replacement of Breakage or Damage Products will be Acceptable Only within 48 hours after delivery.

  3. Refunds for damaged products will be evaluated and accepted on a case to case basis only.

  5. The Odd Gumnut may send you monthly newsletter emails or other emails from time to time on your registered contact details. In case of any objection with such emails, you can unsubscribe using the link in the email itself and we will remove you from future communication. 

Shipping policy:

How does the delivery process work?

  • Once our system processes your order, your products are hand selected to arrive to you in a perfect fermented form! 

  • After they pass through the final round of quality check, they are packed using sustainable materials like cardboard, newspaper and sawdust and handed over to our trusted delivery partners.

  • Our delivery partners then bring the package to you at the earliest possible. In case, they are unable to reach your provided address or at a suitable time, they will contact you to resolve the issue.

 

How are items packaged?

We package our products in cardboard boxes. Kombucha SCOBYs are first packed in a food-grade plastic bag and sealed. Kombucha bottles are wrapped with newspaper and placed in the cardboard box with cardboard dividers and packed tight using sawdust to ensure bottles arrive to you in tact.

What is the range of locations to which The Odd Gumnut ships their products?

Our range is based on product. Kombucha SCOBYs are shipped all over India! Kombucha bottles and other edible products are currently shipped only to Maharashtra, Karnatika & Goa.

My order has been shipped. Now how can I track it?

Once your order is out for shipment, we will recieve the tracking number. If you want to track your package, email us and we will respond with your tracking number which you can use on the Ecom Express website - http://www.ecomexpress.in/​. Otherwise, just hang tight and be patient! Your order is on its way. ​​

What is the estimated delivery time?

We usually dispatch most orders within 1-4 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays). Shipping should take about 7 working days or less. â€‹

Are there any shipping charges applicable on my order?

A flat Rs.75 charge is applied to all orders below Rs.1000, while there is free shipping for all orders above Rs.1000.​

Does The Odd Gumnut ship outside India?

We are a local brand with sustainability in mind. We ship only within India.

Cancellation, Return & Refund policy:

Cancellations:

We do not accept cancellations after your order is placed. As a small business, we work hard to make sure all products get to you efficiently & fielding cancellation requests is too time consuming for our small team.  Be sure about what you are ordering before you finalize payment!

Returns: 

We do not accept returns. All sales are final. Our products are shipped strategically timed to arrive to you in fermented perfection. For that reason, any product shipped back in the form of a return would arrive over-fermented and worthless. Sales are final.

Damaged Items / Refunds:

Our products are always top quality and ensured for perfection before shipping. However in the rare case that your product is damaged during shipment or transit, you can request for a replacement or refund. All considerations will be on a case to case basis. Your requesting of a refund does not guarantee the refund. Refunds are made at the discretion of the The Odd Gumnut.

If you have received an item in a damaged/defective condition or have been sent a wrong product, you can follow a few simple steps to initiate your return/refund within 5 days of receiving the order:

  • Step 1: Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order by email at theoddgumnut@gmail.com

  • Step 2: Provide us with your order ID details and your request to return/replace/refund the defective/wrong items in your order. Kindly share an image of the product and the invoice for our reference.

  • Step 3: We will get in touch with you within 1-3 business days regarding your request. All refunds will be at the discretion of The Odd Gumnut and your request for a refund does not guarantee the refund.

When and if a refund is applicable, we will refund all or part of your money via online bank transfer.

Privacy Policy:

We value your concerns about online privacy & security while browsing and shopping at our website. We make every effort to guarantee that the information you provide will not be misused. If for some reason the following privacy and security policy does not answer your questions, please contact us.

 

During checkout, necessary information is gathered to complete a successful shipment to you. Your email is the only part of that information that we save. We send out 1 newsletter per month to our network, which will include your email after you have made a purchase with us. If at anytime you want to unsubscribe or opt-out, you may do so in the link in the email itself and we will not contact you in the future for anything outside shipping/product communication.
